Apple Rolls Out macOS 15.3, watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3 Updates

Apple has officially rolled out a series of significant software updates, including macOS 15.3, watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3. These updates come approximately six weeks after the previous versions, and users of compatible devices can now download and install them to enjoy enhanced features, bug fixes, and security improvements.

macOS 15.3 Update

macOS 15.3, codenamed Sequoia, introduces several new features, bug fixes, and security updates for Mac users. One of the standout additions is Genmoji, a new feature powered by Apple Intelligence, allowing users to create custom emojis in Messages and other compatible apps. Additionally, the update brings a refreshed notification system, including the ability to manage notification summaries directly from the Lock Screen on Macs with Apple Silicon. Other notable changes include:

  • Genmoji: Create custom emojis in Messages and supported apps.
  • Calculator Enhancement: The Calculator app now repeats the last mathematical operation when you click the equals sign again.
  • Updated Notification Summaries: Improved styling for summarized notifications to better distinguish them from other notifications.
  • Temporary Removal of Notification Summaries: News and Entertainment summaries are currently unavailable but will return once the feature is updated.
  • Bug Fixes: Various performance improvements and security patches.

To download and install macOS 15.3, go to the Software Update section in System Settings. Additionally, Apple has released macOS 14.7.3 and macOS 13.7.3 with security fixes for older Mac models.

watchOS 11.3 Update

Apple has also released watchOS 11.3, the third major update to the watchOS 11 series. This update brings a new Black Unity watch face to celebrate unity and inclusivity. Users can also expect numerous bug fixes to improve performance and stability. To install watchOS 11.3, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Watch app on your paired iPhone.
  2. Navigate to General > Software Update.
  3. Make sure your Apple Watch is charged to at least 50% and is placed on its charger.

tvOS 18.3 Update

tvOS 18.3 is now available for Apple TV users, delivering a variety of bug fixes and security updates. This update does not introduce any new features but focuses on improving system performance and security. To install tvOS 18.3, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Software Update on your Apple TV.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.

visionOS 2.3 Update

For Apple Vision Pro users, visionOS 2.3 is now available. This update can be installed directly through the Settings app on the Vision Pro headset:

  1. Navigate to General > Software Update in the Settings app.
  2. Remove the headset to install the update.

iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 Updates

In addition to the aforementioned updates, iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 have also been released, bringing the latest features and security updates to compatible iPhone and iPad devices.
